Pasta Biryani - Pasta in Spicy Chicken Masala

This delicious recipe is a  fusion of Indian Biryani and Italian Pasta... Very easy to make and having the full flavours of our normal Biryani,but here pasta is used instead of rice..

Ingredients 

  1. Pasta : 1 cup(before cooking)
  2. Chicken : 500gm (cut into medium size pieces,preferably boneless)
  3. Onion (Chopped) :1
  4. Ginger-Garlic Paste :2 tsp
  5. Juice of 1 lemon
  6. Green Chilly (Chopped): 2-3
  7. Tomato(Chopped) : 1 big
  8. Coriander leaves(chopped) : 2 tbsp
  9. Mint leaves(Chopped ) 1 tbsp
  10. Red chilly Powder : 1.5 tsp(divide into two portions)
  11. Turmeric Powder : 1/2 tsp(divide into two portions)
  12. Garam Masala : 1 tsp(divide into two portions)
  13. Salt
  14. Cooking Oil


Method 

  • Marinate the chicken pieces with one portion of  red chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallw fry the chicken till it turns brown colour.
  • Drain them from the oil and keep aside.
  • Add the finely chopped onion,green chilly,ginger garlic paste and saute till it turns brown.
  • Add the chopped tomato and the remaining portions of all the powders.
  • Saute till the raw smell goes.
  • Now add the lime juice,cooked chicken and stir to combine wholetogether.
  • Add 2 tbsps of water , cover the pan and cook in medium flame till the chicken pieces become soft.
  • Now the masala part is over.
  • Cook pasta according to the packet instructions.
  • Drain well and mix them in the chicken masala. Keep the pan in medium flame for 2-3 minutes.The cooked pasta should be well coated with the chicken masala.
  • Switch off the flame..Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.


Ready!!!!!!!!!Serve!!!!!!!!!Enjoy!!!!!!!
