This is a very tasty chicken roast with less ingredients, simple procedures and thani naadan .......Its a dry preparation. If it makes in manchatti , it will be more tastier..
Ingredients :
- Chicken : 500 gms(cut into small pieces)
- Pearl Onions : half cup
- Curry Leaves : 2-3 springs
- Green Chilly : 2
- Red Chilly Powder- 1.5 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - half tsp
- Fennel Powder : 1 tsp
- Salt
- Coconut Oil
Method:
- Heat oil in a munchatti and add pear onions,green chillies and Curry Leaves
- Saute well till the onions get transparent.
- Add the powders and cook it till the raw smell goes.
- Now add chicken pieces with 1/4 cup water and cover the pot(very low flame)
- When the chicken pieces are cooked and combined well with the gravy..drizzle some coconut oil , put some curry leaves and cover tightly.
