Very easy to make .........
A good combination for Chapati,Nan,Porotta, Kubboos etc...
Ingredients :
- White Channa (Vella Kadala) : 1 Cup(Soaked in water for 7-8 hours)
- Onion - 2 medium (sliced)
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
- Green Chilly - 2
- Tomatoes - 2
- Chicken Masala (I use Eastern) - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - half tsp
- Garam Masala - half tsp
- Salt
- Cumin Seeds - 3/4 tsp
- Coriander Leaves - a handful(chopped)
- Sunflower Oil
Method:
- Pressure cook the soaked channa with the ingredients 2-6 and salt.(5-6 whistles on medium flame)
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
- When it splutters, pour the cooked gravy into the pan and boil well(high flame)till the gravy thickens
- Finally sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves on top of it and cover.
