Quick Channa Masala


Very easy to make .........
A good combination for Chapati,Nan,Porotta, Kubboos etc...

Ingredients :

  1. White Channa (Vella Kadala) : 1 Cup(Soaked in water for 7-8 hours)
  2. Onion - 2 medium (sliced)
  3. Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
  4. Green Chilly - 2
  5. Tomatoes - 2
  6. Chicken Masala (I use Eastern) - 2 tbsp
  7. Turmeric Powder - half tsp
  8. Garam Masala - half tsp
  9. Salt
  10. Cumin Seeds - 3/4 tsp
  11. Coriander Leaves - a handful(chopped)
  12. Sunflower Oil



Method:

  • Pressure cook the soaked channa with the ingredients 2-6 and salt.(5-6 whistles on medium flame)
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  • When it splutters, pour the cooked gravy into the pan and boil well(high flame)till the gravy thickens
  • Finally sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves on top of it and cover.
Ready!!!!!!!!!Serve!!!!
