This beef fry is a must stock in my home during Ramadan season for suhoor. Suhoor means the meal consumed by Muslims on the month of Ramadan before dawn ie, the morning prayer..From my childhood till now the suhoor food is the same.... a half plate of rice with this beef fry accompanied by a spicy rasam.
This is very easy to make and we can store it for few days.

Ingredients :
- Beef (cut into small cubes) : 500 gm
- Chilly Powder : 3 tsp
- Turmeric Powder : 1/2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste : 1 tsp
- Fennel Powder : 1 tsp
- Pepper powder : 2 tsp
- Curry Leaves : 2-3 springs
- Salt
- Coconut Oil
Method :
- Pressure cook the beef with the ingredients 2-5 and salt without adding water.
- Wait for 2-3 whistles.
- After releasing the steam open the lid.
- If any water is left, evaporate it in an open pan in medium flame.
- Heat oil in another pan
- Deep fry the beef pieces.
- Sprinkle the pepper powder and add the curry leaves while frying.
