Chilli Fish - A twist

A twist from the normal naadan fish curries of me...The soft fish pieces flavoured and coated with the sauces and some common spices make this curry delectable and irresistible.

Ingredients :
Fish Pieces (cubed) : 500 gms
For Marination :
Red Chilly Powder : 1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder : 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste : 1/2 tsp
Salt
All purpose flour : 2 tbsp
Cornflour : 1 tbsp
Soya Sauce : 1 tsp

For Gravy :
Onion (diced) : 1 big or 2 small
Garlic (chopped ) : 2-3
Soya Sauce : 1 tsp
Tomato Sauce : 3 tsp
Chilly Sauce : 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri Chilly Powder : 1 tsp
Corn Flour : 1.5 tsp mixed in water to make a medium thick paste
Salt
Oil

Method :
Mix all the ingredients for marination with 2-3 tbsps of water to make a smooth paste.
Marinate the fish pieces with the mixture and keep aside for half n hour.
Deep fry the fish pieces in hot oil and keep aside.
In another pan, pour 2-3 tsps of the same oil we used for frying and add chopped garlic and diced onion.
Saute for sometime(2-3 minutes).(Just starts browning only)
Add Kashmiri chilly powder and salt and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Now add the sauces ,stir well to combine and add the cornflour mixture.
When it starts to boil add the fish pieces and combine well with the sauce-spice mixture.
Switch off the flame and the chilly fish is ready to serve...

This is best paired with fried rice, naan, rotis and even chapatis too.......

Have!!!Enjoy!!!!!
