Fried Chicken Masala


It's time for another yummy chicken recipe.........
Neither a Curry nor a Fry...in between!!!!
Shallow fried Chicken pieces are coated with crispy onions, green chillies and Curry leaves
Another experiment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients  :

  1. Chicken : 500 gms(cut into medium size pieces)
  2. Red Chilly powder : 2 tsp
  3. Coriander Powder : 1 tsp
  4. Turmeric Powder :1/2 tsp
  5. Garam Masala : 1/2 tsp
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste : 1.5 tsp
  7. Lime Juice: from half of a lemon
  8. Salt : As required
  9. Onion : 2 small
  10. Green Chilly : 2-3
  11. Curry Leaves : 2-3 springs
  12. Coriander Leaves :3-4 springs(Chopped)
  13. Oil



Method:

  • Make a paste of the ingredients 2-7 with 2-3 tbsps of water.
  • Marinate the chicken with the above mix(take 3/4 of it) for 1-2 hours.
  • Mix the sliced onions with the remaining masala.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Shallow fry the chicken pieces.
  • When it cooks .drain them and keep aside.
  • Now add the onions into the masala (low flame)followed by green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Saute well for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the chicken pieces,mix well and cover the pan .(4-5 minutes)
  • When the chicken pieces are coated with the masala,add the coriander leaves 
  • Switch off the flame.


Ready!!!!!!!!!Serve!!!!!!!!!!
