Here's a tasty, healthy and very simple side dish for lunch.
- Chena/Yam (sliced ) : a small one(250 gm)
- Chilly Powder : 1-2 tsp
- Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
- Salt
- Garlic (crushed with skin) : 3-4
- Curry leaves : 2 springs
- Oil
Method :
- Remove the outer cover and slice the yam(as seen in the pic). wash well and drain
- Marinate the pieces with the powders and salt.
- Shallow fry them till crispy(medium flame)
- At the end,add the crushed garlic and curry leaves, stir for 1-2 minutes.
- Take out from the oil and serve.
